ϡ - Chapter TwentySeven; The brief interlude [voice/action] backdated to the 10th
[ It’s been awhile and with everything that’s occurred he had almost forgotten. But it’s September 10th once again. That day…that day Elise passed away and he lost the most important person to him. He’s lost a lot here, been through a lot here. But the memory doesn’t fade, doesn’t heal, and he doesn’t want it to. This is for her and everything she meant to him, everything she still is to him.
So he can’t forget and never will. ]
It’s funny. How…certain things catch up to you. I-I suppose you lose track of time in this place, hm? It’s quite easy to do so, what with no designated unit. It...makes you wonder what other people back home might be doing. Might have been doing in the interim.
Ah! And a belated welcome to all our new arrivals. It's a bit strange, isn't it? But...everyone here is welcoming enough. You'll-you'll come to find that out on your own though. I've met some...very wonderful people here. I hope you can all do the same. Luceti is a trying place at times but we help one another, and it makes things easier.
[ There’s no other transmission after that for awhile. The roomies can hear him walking, pacing actually, in his room before it stops and he opens the door. He’ll go to leave heading to the memory garden. He makes one more voice post before he places a bundle of flowers in one of the open plots. ]
I-I hope it’s not, not too much trouble. I, um, used one of the plots in the g-garden. If, it is…I can move them. [ He has a plot out in the forest anyway. And he’ll actually make his way to the edge of the town sometime later in the afternoon. He’ll return around midday and then hang around town until late at night. He’ll be outside looking up at the stars outside of CH7 humming a rather interesting song to himself. It’s actually a song she wrote for him but it’s not like anyone would know that. Maybe though, just maybe, the love in it will be conferred via his poor attempt at humming it. He also might not be speaking to anyone in particular, actually he's speaking to himself, odd isn't it? But he'll be out back by the boat laying as comfortable as his wings will allow on his back. He'll just be idly tracing the stars with one hand and one eye closed. His journal is beside him and it isn't recording he made sure of that. Still people walking by might hear someone talking to themselves.]
It's rather beautiful out here, Elise. I-I think you would enjoy it. You always were interested in the outdoors. I wish you could be here to see it. [ But it wouldn't be right for him to wish her here. He's not sure she deserves to be here...be with him. Still the idea makes him smile if even just a little bit. ]
((ooc; Pretty much you can meet Helios anywhere he's at today. Afternoon, midday, or nighttime. You don't have to label it if you don't want. Also he might be a bit preoccupied/invested in his thoughts. I suggest sneaking up on him and startling him /shot))
So he can’t forget and never will. ]

[Action] | Whenever Helios is at the Memorial Garden
He's surprised to see Helios there, with that bundle of flowers, and it's a moment before he speaks.]
Ah... Helios?
[He's worried that someone especially important might have gone home. Robert may not be able to understand emotions very well, but seven months of knowing Helios let him at least vaguely ascertain the melancholy on his best friend's face.]
[Action]
R-Robert! I-I'm sorry. I didn't hear you. [ No. No one important has gone home. The person has gone for a long time. But he'll still have a day of remembrance for her. ]
[Action]
[The scientist steps up closer to Helios, clasping the spray bottle he was carrying against his chest.]
... Did someone... go home for you, lately? [It's blunt, and maybe almost rude, but he still wants to ask.]
[Action]
[ He'll just look at the flowers in his hand. He shakes his head and holds up a hand. ] Oh no, no. It's nothing like that Robert. I just thought I might put some down for someone back home. Ah! I-I mean if that's all right. I-I wouldn't want to intrude...
[ He's not sure it's for that sort of thing after all. ]

[Action] Evening, outside CH7
...Sorry, she doesn't ever mean to startle anyone, but walking quietly is a habit.]
[Action]
I-I'm sorry. I was just...talking to myself. I didn't wake you or anything did I?
[ Now that he thinks about it's probably silly to admit talking to himself, let alone at night time. ]
[Action]
/Not at all, just came home from work.
The boat looks great./
[Action]
[ He'll look back at the boat nodding. ] Yes it's...amazing what we can accomplish here. I never thought I'd be lending a hand building a boat of all things.

Voice
[Noise filters over from Giles' side, noise that suggests that he's packing up to go and meet his best friend already.]
Voice
Re: Voice
It might have started out just for, for Vivi, but...that's what it's grown into.
Voice
[ Surprised he didn't think it up a year or so ago when he was here the first time. Still he has his own little private plot in the forest. Which he will make sure to visit after this. ]

That is a beautiful song, Helios.
[ action ]
[ Compliment Helios... ] Oh, I-I mean yes, yes of course. Thank you Frederic. Um you're up late. Is everything all right?
[ action ]
[ action ]
Singing is a bit of an overstatement, Frederic. But I do like to think I can hum somewhat decently.
