He promised, I-I know he did. Ginia...she's-she's so strong we've been coping though. A-And it's not as if he-he can't come back. [ But who knows when or how he might be when he does. He might not remember them and that alone scares him to a very large degree. ]

But-but we don't have control over where or when it happens, just that it does. It's not-not f-fair. [ Because here Giles had a second chance, a chance to live out the remainder of his life happily and without pain or grief and he knows that he shouldn't let this ruin both their day, but it's so hard to accept sometimes. Still he tries to smile a little.

His expression turns into one of surprise before settling for something along the lines of acceptance. He runs a hand down her back as she embraces him. ] I miss him Alice.

[It isn't fair at all. It's not right for people to be brought in and make such a difference, then be torn away. She holds Helios a little tighter, pressing kisses to his forehead and cheek. What if he was sent home one day? She couldn't imagine what that would be like.]

It's okay to miss him. You don't have to hide anything. I'm here now.

I left him with such...horrible information about me. About everything going on. And I...I didn't even get to say goodbye. No one did. And Ginia...she's trying to be strong but she...she needs... [ She needs Giles and he can't, he can only help so much. It's been hard on them both and he suspects Alice being out to be the contemplation of many things, this being a major factor. And no it's not fair because Giles was really gone. There's a small pause as he simply revels in those kisses. He presses his lips to hers in a soft gentle manner a hand brushing her hair out of her face. ]

I'm sorry. I didn't want to...to ruin this day for us.

[Alice is bad at comforting people. She knows it. She can hold him and kiss him and try to take some of his pain away, but she doesn't know what to say. What she wants to say, she knows she shouldn't because it'd make it worse. Because she'd like to hurt Giles right now. Not badly, just punch him once or three times. Hit him for making everyone so upset even though leaving wasn't his fault.

He didn't leave. He was sent home. Right.]

You didn't ruin anything. I'd find out sooner or later and it's better I found out sooner. I'm sorry, I wish I was here sooner. For you.

[ Helios manages a small smile as he looks into her eyes he'll brush some of her hair out off the way a small, albeit dour, smile touching his lips. He shakes his head. It would have been nice to have her with him to comfort him and to be there for him when he was in such bad shape. But, no, that wasn't her fault and to blame her for something like that wouldn't be fair. Because he knows she would have been there and done anything for him if she could have. ] There's no need to apologize, dear. You...you can't exactly help it, you know? I-I h-had Robert and Grune and Ginia and everyone else who knew him there. But you're here now though.

[ Another kiss. ]

[Alice shifts slightly to sit comfortably on his lap. Her hands stroke his cheeks, still watching him with gentle concern and love. She nods. She is here now and for as long as she is, she will fill his time with all the love and adoration she can give him.

Another welcomed kiss. Alice leans in to it, perfectly content with everything.]

[ He'll make a pleased noise in the back of his throat as Alice leans into that kiss. He knows she would have given him all the love and concern and adoration she has if she had been.

Time heals all wounds and with a little help it can heal so much faster. He doesn't pull away for several seconds only when air becomes an issue. He'll sit back in his chair and smile at her a cool hand running along her cheek. ] I love you.

[Even as the kiss is broken, Alice snuggles in to kiss his neck and jawline. She stops when he speaks. I love you. Three words that carry so much weight. Once this is all over, she'll have a moment to contemplate and pick apart her words and damn the Malnosso, but right now the words come easily.]

I love you too.

[ The words come so very, very, easily. And it's going to be so strange when this is all over and he remembers what he's said to her and how easily he said it. Powerful words evoking so many feelings and thoughts and desires all of which he shouldn't even be having at this moment. But Malnosso fabrication is a powerful thing and Helios says it with all the emotions and feelings that he can possibly convey in those three words. He'll be damning them come Sunday but for now they're easily spoken, naturally even, as if Alice was Elise in a way.

Helios might shift in his seat wrapping an arm around her as he eyes the snow and their partially eaten meal. He'll give her another kiss, smiling and then whisper into her ear. ] We should really finish eating before everything gets cold. And then perhaps we could got outside for a bit, come back in and get warm...in whatever way possible.

[ And he does mean in whatever way. He knows Alice can get creative when she wants to, so, he might just leave that part up to her. ]

[A slow smile crosses Alice's face at his whispered words. She's very creative when it comes to ways of warming up, but she knows Helios has just as many ideas too. She steals another kiss and slowly gyrates her body against his before sliding off his lap and taking her seat again. Where Ginia might have been dainty and dignified about it, Alice begins to wolf her food down.]

[ Mm Alice you tempt him so when you move like that. But, no, he'll content himself with finishing his own breakfast because with the way things are going? He's probably going to need his energy. ]

[He'll need his energy. Lots and lots of energy because there are snow mythica to make and unicorn rides to offer, and then lots of cuddling, a hot bath for two, and some other kinds of riding. Her plate empty, Alice washes it all down with a glass of orange juice, dabs off her lips, and kisses him on the cheek.]

I'm going to change into something a lot less comfy and more snow appropriate. Care to help me?

[ Helios blinks and looks up at her a smile spreading across his lips. ] Oh I think I can spare a few minutes to help you with that. The dishes can wait after all.

[ You are his top priority dear, and you did ask ever so kindly so, well, he can't deny such a request for help. He'll take her plate and his own and put them in the sink waiting for her to lead the way. ]

[From under the table, Odin huffs to himself. Silly humans, always going off to mate with each other. Alice takes his hand and leads him off to Ginia's room, closing the door behind them. She seats him on the bed before walking over to the closet and browsing through Ginia's clothes.]

What do you want to see? Sweater? Blouse? You wish is my command.

[ Silly Odin if you weren't fixed you'd be more appreciative of this sort of thing. Either way Helios takes Alice's hand and lets her lead the way back to Ginia's room. He smiles watching her from the bed. He'll bring a hand to his chin a very serious and thoughtful expression on his features. ] You could try on both. I think a sweater might be best though, given the severity of the weather.

[ He wouldn't want his carbuncle getting cold now. ]

As you wish.

[Before she can put anything on, she needs to take off what she's wearing. Alice smiles over her shoulder and gently lifts the hem of her t-shirt, exposing a few inches of skin before letting it drift back down. She repeats the motion, showing off a little more of back or turning to show off her stomach, once even pulling the shirt up just enough to expose the bottom of her bare breasts before she covers them again.

Finally, she'll take the shirt off, careful not to ruffle her feathers. Her back, scarred as it is, isn't much to look at, but her chest? She teasingly covers up with her arms.]

[ Helios all the while will watch from that bed his cheeks coloring a slight red as he lets Alice work her magic. She was rather enchanting when she teased him like this and it's one of the reasons he fell in love with her. Still he doesn't even pay much heed to the scarring on her back at first because his own arms are anything but nice to look at. He'll make to get up but he stops waiting just to see what she'll do next. ]

[The shirt is dropped carelessly to the ground. Back turned to him, she'll shimmy slowly out of her pajama pants until she's only left standing in her underwear. Keeping her chest covered, she strolls purposely over to the dress to pick out a new set of underwear to slip into. Something comfortable, but enticing, to keep him wanting and excited for later. Sure, it's tempting enough now to jump him and have a good time, but give it a few more hours, let some ideas brew in his mind, build up the tension, and it'll be much better later on.

Her underwear picked out, Alice hooks her fingers into the sides of her panties and slowly pulls them down, back still to him as she bares herself completely.]

[ Alice you are really working him up right now I mean gods he is just...full on attention as she does her thing. He loves every minutes of it and it's definitely keeping him excited that's for sure. Why do you do this to him dear? He'll shift on that bed a brief pout touching his lips. ] Y-You know I'm not sure this is entirely fair. You're making it very hard for me not-not to come over and try to keep you warm.

[ Even though the lack of body heat prevents that somewhat. Still you are such a tease Alice so not right. ]

[Alice glances coyly over a shoulder as she slides a bra on, leaving it unclipped in the back.] I'm sorry, dear, I didn't mean to make it hard for you. Why don't you come over and clip me up? [She wiggles again at him, pouting slightly.]

[ Helios sighs theatrically as he gets up off the bed. There's a smirk on his expression as he stands behind her. Both cool hands will trail from her hips upward, feather light touches as he does so, and he'll end up and the top of her back where her bra resides which he'll make to clip. He'll give her neck a few light kisses then. ] It's quite all right. I forgive you, of course.

[Alice rubs up against him, a hand moving to brush her hair out if the way. She pulls on her panties and turns around to face him, arms resting on his shoulders. She smiles coyly, guiding him a step back.] Maybe we should skip dressing and go back to undressing... Undressing you.

[ A step back then. He smiles as he rest his hands on her hips. ] We could. Perhaps it would make up for all the teasing you've been doing.

[ Another step back as he moves closer to the bed. ]

Or we could wait and work up a good amount of energy and come back later. [ He'll do whatever you want dear. ]

[Alice laughs quietly and responds with a kiss, loving, but heated and hot as she presses right against him. One leg hitches up to wrap around him as her hands brush lightly against his wings, caressing the wingbone and stroking over feathers. She continues to guide him back toward the bed, only needing one final push to have him down on it.

But that push never comes. She'll savor the kiss and wind him up just a little more before she untangles and struts over to the closet to pick out her clothes for the day.]

[ Helios' breath catches in his throat when she moves him right up to the edge of that bed. His hand might move instinctively to catch her leg wrapping around him to help keep it in place for balance. His hand runs along her thigh and calf as he responds right back with a just as heated and loving kiss. He shivers at that caress over his wings and they stretch slightly quivering with that impeccable smooth touch Alice seems to have over him.

When it's over he lets out a sigh and watches her go back to getting dressed knowing that whatever she puts on he'll have just as much enjoyment in taking it off later. So much enjoyment. ]
