[ The transmission is silent, for some time, but it’s most likely because Helios doesn’t notice it’s on. The sounds of pages turning in a book are the only source of noise to be recognized. He'll give a long sigh. ] Mushi seem to have disappeared as well.

Oh! It’s on- [ He sighs again because he really needs to be more wary of this thing. Why so scatter brained Helios? ]

Hm. [ Tap. Tap. Tap. ] What method or means does magic come from in each of your respective worlds? Are people naturally predisposed to having powers, or are there means to which you may gain them?

It's always good to be a part of something, regardless how small. Ones abilities shouldn't separate them from anyone.

Heaven's no! Doing that...wouldn't really benefit anyone would it?

It would benefit themselves. [Of course she's referring to villains here.]

True... [ He's a bit sullen at that. ] but there are some who can have changes of heart, or I'd like to think.

I believe so, too. I've just never been proven correct before.

I'd like to think people can change...if they truly want to. [ He'll chuckle a little. ] But I suppose that makes me somewhat of a dreamer, doesn't it?

[pause] May I ask why you're curious about magic from other worlds?

[folklorist]

Then we'll certainly dream together!

Being a magic user myself I find it all rather interesting to see where it comes from in these other worlds. So many interesting people from so many differing worlds, ah it's wonderful. [ Wistful sigh. ]

Everyone here is just lovely to talk to, aren't they? I figured I might not get a second chance, so I just had to ask!

What kind of magic do you wield?

[folklorist]

Oh you know, all sorts. I supposed you'd call it elemental magic and the occasional dark and light spells.

Can you manipulate the elements? [She only asks because she's talked with Katara about bending.]

Yes! Exactly that!

That is impressive. I would like to test my abilities against your magic one of these days. [Of course, she assumes that everyone is a combatant.]

Ah-what? Oh heavens no, madam! I simply couldn't do such a thing! I'm er, not really a good fighter you see and I prefer not to do it! [ Sheepish nervous laugh is go. He's totally not a combatant when he doesn't have to be. ]

[The disappointment is evident in her voice.] Then what do you use your magic for?

[ Sorry to disappoint! ] Teaching, protection when needed, I hardly use it for anything but experimentation and the like. Though if there is a threat I certainly will use it as a last resort.

Ah, an educator. It's still quite an admirable profession.

[folklorist]

Ah! Y-You think so? [ Sheepish laugh. ] It's nothing too admirable really!

But it is because of teachers that we all develop and progress. One cannot grow without learning.

[folklorist]

Ah you do have a point. But it's also the students who we teach that have to be willing to learn too. A joint effort I guess!
