Gods Ginia. I-I'm so sorry. [ Even if there's flashes of the memories. The funeral the crying Ginia's shaking figure pressed against him as he tries to soothe the hurt and the pain of losing someone so close, so dear. But even in that alternate reality he's lost Elise and he's not sure how it's fair, it isn't fair. Losing her family and then that happened? It didn't seem fair. No. Life wasn't fair, was it? Nothing ever was what it seemed. Helios shakes his head. ]

There's nothing t-to be sorry for. So, please, d-don't apologize. E-Especially to me... [ he who dumped the fact that Elise had died on her in a similar fashion. Never topics to bring up but oh how they unexpectedly emerged. He can only guess what she was about to say and gods he wishes he couldn't. Taking your life because the pain was all but unbearable and you didn't think you could ever move on or recover. He knows what that kind of pain leads to, what kind of thoughts. He looks at her with all the compassion and understanding he can muster. ] You...you should plant something for her. In, in the memory garden.

[ There's a feeble smile from him. ] It helps at times.

[Ginia folds her hands together and rests her chin on them. It was a comforting old habit for her, one she always did when she didn't feel like talking or needed time to think on something. Occupied hands were silent hands. Now, even though she could talk, they still had the same purpose. Her life hadn't been easy. Nothing about life was, but sometimes it felt like whatever force controlled the world really liked seeing her kicked in the teeth.

She smiles faintly at Helios, appreciating his words and understanding. They'd both been through a lot. Maybe too much, but so went life. Even Ginia knew others had it worse than her. Wasn't that why she fought? Why she even killed? To stop anyone else from going through the things she did?]

I was thinking about that. Alice planted tulips for her, I've planted buttercups for her. But... maybe going back later would be nice.
