ϡ - Appointments Post

This post here is for personal conversations which should happen but one or both of us doesn't want to put up a new post/log and thus we will just thread it out here. This can be used to thread with Helios anytime and anywhere. This can either be in person (with action), or via the journal's call feature (voice and/or written).

[A light sigh can be heard on her end. Chicken soup for dinner, yep. Her voice is not quite as excited. Suspicious, yes, cautious, yes. Tired, yes.

Giles. He could still be alive, he could go to Helios' world.]

I know. Do you think... anyone could go? To another world, that is.

[ He was helping with the ice storm! Give the man a break but chicken soup does sound delicious. It does hit the point home about Giles. Giles, gods, if he was here...he could go back to Helios' world he could be alive and live out his life the way he was meant to.

There are several long seconds as Helios pauses to think. ] I-I'm not sure. From what they've stated...it seems to be the case. But is it only for people in the enclosure? Or-or perhaps they could do it for people who've been here in the past as well.

[ So many questions. ]

[Ginia's breath catches as she thinks on that possibility. They could bring people, send them home, why not return them? If only...]

If he comes back, you have to take him.

[Her voice cracks slightly, betraying all the pain and sadness she's locked away ever since he left. There's also hope there, hope that he will returned one day. Even if he couldn't remember, painful as that would be, as long as he was alive again.]

[ He hears that crack in her voice his expression on the other end is surprised and then sad, so very sad. He's glad that she can't see him in person at this moment. There's several coughs from his end before he can reply. After clearing his throat and composing himself his voice a bit strained when he replies. ] Ginia...

[ Gods he wishes the other was here right now, to have Giles come to his world to be able to live out his life and, and be able to enjoy it while he does so...

No. He might not remember them if he ever came back and that would be...that would so hard. But he'd still offer how could he not? ]

[Ginia is glad he can't see her either. She's silent for a minute or two, taking a moment to steady her voice and compose herself again. She's moved on just enough to get her life back on track, but she'll still keep an eye out for him. There's a new cycle in four days. She'll hope and wait.]

I know. We should be careful of anything the Malnosso offer, but... isn't this what we've talked about before? If this works, maybe... maybe there are other possibilities.

It is. [ And for some reason he can't help but feel a little ridiculous. The amount of power he would even need to teleport to another world. Filling people's heads with such a ridiculous dream. He sigh rubbing his eyes on his end. ]

I-I know and, and I m-might just sign up my world for it. N-No I will. If I can...can give someone else another chance I...want to. [ His own world is far from perfect but it's at least something, isn't it? ] I wish he was here so I could...show it to him.

[ He swallows thickly. The battledome was only so helpful and capable of the real thing. ]

I wish he was here too. [She's quiet again, pushing past all the grief she's been refusing to let herself feel. It hurts so much now. It always does when thinking about the things that could have been.]

...Can I see your world? I know that's... that's utterly selfish to ask, but... could I go?

[ There's a hitched breath on his end. Stupid. He shouldn't have said that. ] I-I'm sorry Ginia. I-I didn't mean...I shouldn't have said that.

[ Stupid. He knew how much pain Ginia was in and still he...

Helios' eyes widen on his end. ] Of course.. I-I don't think it's selfish at all. I'd like for you...to see it. My world.

[Ginia laughs. It's a little rough, but it's a real laugh.] Please, Helios, don't apologize. I know how close you two were. If he was here, I would want you two to go. I'd be shoving you two out the door. So... don't apologize. You didn't do anything wrong.

...And... thank you. ...Think they'll let us take picture?

But...but what about you? [ It didn't seem fair if that was the case. ] I would have wanted to take both of you. So there's no need to, to thank me. [ He smiles sadly on his end, chuckling a little at the question. ]

I'm not sure. I-I don't think it should be too much of a problem. Everything is supposedly going to go back to the way it was when we left.

I still have a world to go back to. [It's not something she likes to think on, but it's the hard truth. As much as she doesn't want to, there's still somewhere for her to go, a life to live out.] I don't want to go back, but... I still have a world to go back to.

...I'll bring a camera.

I know...but it doesn't mean th-that, that people should have to choose. I would have loved to take the both of you. [ A tired sigh on his end. ]

A camera will be good we can certainly get in a lot of sight-seeing. But I will apologize in advance for Ra's behavior. He's a bit...jagged towards n-new people.

[ Helios is somewhat dreading this introduction. Ra is not the easiest of Gods to get along with not by a long shot. He can only imagine what lewd comments the other might make. ]

Apology accepted in advance, if it's really required. Ra...I think you've mentioned him before. Dragon?

D-Dragon god actually. He, um, is a rather close acquaintance of mine. He's rather... [ sigh. How does he even put it? ] ...rather crude at times. But I'm sure nothing will come of it. He's not beyond self control after all.

[ Even though when it comes to speaking what's on his mind he shows little restraint. ]

I'm sure it's no worse than what I've experience before. I look forward to meeting him and seeing the school. It'll be... it'll be very nice.

I-I'm not sure if he will be or not. Cooperative I mean. [ Sigh. ] We'll just have to wait and see I suppose. And there's the...ah, phantoms. They can be a bit unnerving but I'll try to keep them in line. I never really got used to them either to be honest. But! We'll make you feel right at home! We can probably get some sight seeing in as well.

[ The joys of teleportation and magic, yay! ]

[Ginia laughs quietly.] I'm sure it'll be a very fun and exciting experience. Do you think we'll still have our wings there?
