ϡ - Chapter Two; it's a cold day [action/voice]

That snow storm was something...it reminded me a bit of back home. [ He sounds a bit sullen with the statement, but continues on cheerfully nonetheless. ]

Ah, a nice warm cup of tea would be absolutely wonderful right now! With sugar...lots of sugar!

I must thank everyone for when I arrived your help was much appreciated. Sonic, Ted, I don't know how else to thank you. I'll have to get used to this...journal thing however. It's very strange or I'm just very bad with this whole technology business! [ He laughs a lot, because it's so true. He clears his throat and continues. ]

I was wondering if there's any place I might be able stay? I've heard from some that there are apartments available. I wouldn't want to intrude on anyone, I'd feel just awful you see! So, er, does anyone know which are open?

[ Meanwhile as he's saying this, he's making a snowman outside in the eastern portion of the town since he's odd enough to brave the cold. If you're really good at noticing tiny details you'll see that the snow isn't melting as fast as it should, or not at all, within his hands he's also not very cold or showing signs of being affected. It's probably the only perk to your skin being devoid of all heat and practically corpse like. He then starts to hum a small tune, nothing recognizable, but it's still at least catchy and you all can hear it because he forgot to close his journal, this is likely going to happen a lot, derpy derp. ]

Oh, I could probably go on forever. You might not even need whatever I wrote, hah. [He finishes his tea as well, setting the cup aside for now.] The basics, though... well, it's like a whole bunch of different worlds in one. There might even be an Earth or two somewhere in it. It's a world made from dreams.

And I never knew where all the dreams came from until recently. It's a pretty chaotic place, though... it changes all the time. I guess a nice change would be no change. Something a bit more stable, you know?

It is kind of a nice change, to be honest. Sometimes I do miss the steady changing, but I can get that in my own dreams. The one downside to this place is that it's a lot harder to use our brand of magic.

It's basically taking the natural chaos and making it change in the way you want it to. You can do practically anything with it if you have the willpower to bend the world in the right way.

[Keu leans forward, propping up his head with one arm, and sighs.] Problem is, because it's so stable here, it takes so much energy to affect change.

It's pretty common, actually. Almost anyone in my world can do it to some extent. I'm not sure if it'll help with the Malnosso, though, but the description of "Shifting" did sort of fit what I do... I'll give it a shot, at least.

Yeah, I'll see if I notice anything if an experiment starts up! I doubt I could actually influence it, but sensing it would be a good start.

Hmm... oh, here, a little demonstration. [Keu's hand starts to glow blue, as does the teapot; the latter hovers over to Keu's cup and pours him a new cup of tea, after which it hovers back to its original position.]

I think the blue glow is because I have to expend so much more energy to change things. It normally doesn't do that.

Well, that was basically telekinesis. I can do other stuff too... creating, changing, and destroying things, but I need to conserve my energy. [...Okay, he's going to show off a bit more by making a small amount of cream and sugar pop into existence right above his teacup, with the same blue glow.]

It's a bit of everything, really. [He sips at his tea and makes a slightly surprised face for a moment.] Mm, too much sugar. It's like... how can I describe it? [Keu leans on the table, assuming a pose much like Helios did just a few moment ago.]

...I think it's like telling the world what to do, metaphorically. You say, "hey, world, I want there to be some cream and sugar right here," and give it some energy, and it says "okay." ...Then there's cream and sugar.
