That snow storm was something...it reminded me a bit of back home. [ He sounds a bit sullen with the statement, but continues on cheerfully nonetheless. ]

Ah, a nice warm cup of tea would be absolutely wonderful right now! With sugar...lots of sugar!

I must thank everyone for when I arrived your help was much appreciated. Sonic, Ted, I don't know how else to thank you. I'll have to get used to this...journal thing however. It's very strange or I'm just very bad with this whole technology business! [ He laughs a lot, because it's so true. He clears his throat and continues. ]

I was wondering if there's any place I might be able stay? I've heard from some that there are apartments available. I wouldn't want to intrude on anyone, I'd feel just awful you see! So, er, does anyone know which are open?

[ Meanwhile as he's saying this, he's making a snowman outside in the eastern portion of the town since he's odd enough to brave the cold. If you're really good at noticing tiny details you'll see that the snow isn't melting as fast as it should, or not at all, within his hands he's also not very cold or showing signs of being affected. It's probably the only perk to your skin being devoid of all heat and practically corpse like. He then starts to hum a small tune, nothing recognizable, but it's still at least catchy and you all can hear it because he forgot to close his journal, this is likely going to happen a lot, derpy derp. ]

[ Well he hasn't made one in a long time so he's quite rusty, you see. But you're welcome to watch or join in. He's just finished rolling the middle portion and lifting it, with some difficulty, onto the larger bottom. He lets out a tired sigh before going back to humming, standing straight to look at his work. ]

[Sadly, she can't really help much seeing as she can't really lift anything too heavy. But she will float a little closer to have a better look.]

[ Aw poor thing. Well maybe making a miniature snowman would be easier? He turns around to go and get some more snow when he almost runs into you there Kohaku. He lets out a slight gasp, almost falling on his ass. ]

Ah! I didn't see you there, miss! [ He gives a warm smile though. ]

[Those are easier yes! Though that gets her to jump a good feet backwards.]

O-oh, I'm sorry! [Though she really needs to get a sign saying she's not exactly a girl...]

No need, no need! You're all right I hope? It was my mistake. [ He dismisses it with a hand wave, smile ever so apparent. ]

I simply get caught up in things sometimes! It's been so long since I've made a snowman, you see.

Yes, I'm alright! [She takes a deep breath to calm down a little. That scared her a little.]

So you have snow in your world?

Good! [ He bends down to pick some snow up and proceeds to roll it into a snowball. Then he tosses it into the air catching it in mildly amused repetition as he speaks. ]

Quite a bit! Though it depends on where you live to be more precise. Some places never have it at all.

Really? Why's that? [She will just be watching him curiously.]

Well you see...[ He bends down and places the small ball on the ground rolling it so it gets bigger. Then he picks it up and places it on top of the medium sized middle portion. ] there we go! Not bad for a few years out of practice.

[ He clears his throat, continuing with the explanation. ]

Some places are hotter than others and never reach a certain point for snow to form! Too dry for it I think.

Why haven't you built one in a few years??

Oh, that makes sense.

Oh well keeping up a school is quite busy so I just haven't had the time.

Ah! Would you like to make one? It's fun to watch but all more entertaining when you actually make one!

Keeping up a school?

Oh, sure! But I'm not very good at it yet.

Yes! I'm its headmaster!

[ He smirks bending down to pick up some more snow. ]

Practice makes perfect my dear! You will be a snowman making expert in no time!

...Headmaster?

[She will do the same, and start making a fail!snowball.]

It's another name for principal!

[ He just smiles watching you make that while he makes his own. ]

There's a trick! [ He gives a few puffs of hot air onto his own snowball making it moister but not enough to melt it. ] If you make it just a tad bit moist you can cause this powder snow to pack easier!

[ And he rolls it around for added effect, the ball getting larger as he does so. ] See?

What does a principal do?

[She nods and gives it a shot...though her breath doesn't have much warmth to it. She just frowns and keeps on trying.]

A principal...runs the school. They make sure everything is going according to regulations and all that. Headmasters, like myself, are a bit different in that we have sometimes a historical association to our schools.

[ He smiles as he watches her try. Poor thing; he continues with his own snowball. ]

Is it a fun job?

[Don't smile a her fail! She keeps trying, but it really just gets worse..]

Oh yes! It's a wonderful job, life changing in some ways.

[ He can't help it! It's not fail! You're just not used to it yet. But he'll help you now little. ]

Here allow me. [ He gathers up some snow and rolls it so it's a decent size for her to handle. ] Ah forgive me I haven't told you my name yet. I'm Helios! And you are?

How so?

[She'll take it happily, but end up almost dropping it when he says that.]

O-oh I'm sorry! My name is Kohaku!

[ He pauses, thinking for a moment. ]

It's quite a big responsibility for starters. Also the people you meet, the students you have all their stories and lives can really...change your own.

[ He steadies her so it doesn't drop. ]

No need for apologies! A lovely name, Japanese correct?

That does sound interesting.

[She won't drop it! She's being careful.]

...It might be...But I'm not from there..

And what about you? Do they have schools where you are from?

[ He goes back to his own then, seeing that she's all right. He taps his chin, thinking. ]

Hmm it does seem like it is. Oh? Where are from then?

No, I'm just learning how to read.

[She will eventually start rolling it around.]

Heaven! [Smiling like there's nothing wrong with that!]

Ah, are you now? You must be a fast learner.

An angel then! How could I have not noticed! [ He gives her a broad smile. He finds nothing wrong either since, he's had angels as students before. ]
