ϡ - Chapter TwentySix; And now for something not so different [voice/action]
[ There's a loud splash as someone gets dropped off by the droids...in the river by House 35. The figure that steps out from the embankment is not a familiar face. Most people might not recognize him or perhaps you saw him like this once before. But that's neither here, nor there. Yes, her. The voice over the transmission is completely feminine and most likely unfamiliar. ] Oh for heaven's sake not again.
[ Just an annoyed huff. Wonderful Malnosso, just wonderful. Once again he's a woman. You might hear him mumbling something under his breath as he tries to dry off clothes far too big for him now. Far, far too big since they were his but...well wardrobe change aside not much else has changed this time. Time to go shopping...again. This would be so much easier if he had any fashion sense whatsoever. Mumbled: ] You would think doing this once before would ruin the fun.
[ Oh silly Helios there is always fun to be had in Luceti. Awkward or otherwise, everyone gets involved. He clears her throat before letting out a sheepish laugh. Not very well known, in her tone at least, but the action should be familiar. ] Oh. Um. I'm-I'm back. Did...did anything happen while I was away? [ He realizes shortly afterward no one will actually recognize his voice like this. Derp. Still he sounds none too pleased about the ordeal. Helios will make his way towards the town in seek of more...appropriate clothing. Of course he's really not paying attention, his mind elsewhere at the moment, so...have a blonde haired woman tripping as she walks. A slight 'Ah!' for emphasis. Sad part is that there's not even heels involved this time. Trees. Who put those roots there? ]

magicboobs Note: Helios still identifies as himself this time around he's just female bodied. So yeah...enjoy that.))

[Action] If I could draw, you'd get Frederic, Giles, and Helios (...alphabetical!) on unicorns.
/Order and logic then. So could you treat leaning a spell as following a certain formula or equation?/
[Action] That is a beautiful mental image. )8
[Action] I may have to photoshop something once I have my computer.
/That does make it seem easier. In theory at least, not practice./ [There's a wry smile as she pauses to take a sip of tea.] /A pity I'm not very good with science either./
[Action] fff yes do it.
[ Helios drinks his own tea, making a pleased noise as he puts the cup down with a small clink. It was very good tea. ] You don't have to be good with science, it doesn't hurt, certainly. But there's more to magic than just principals and methods. [ Ginia might feel a small breeze in the room just then. ] You have to...feel them, the elements. When you work with them. Understand what the spells ask of you and how you can use your own energy to control them. Bend them to your own personal will and power.
[ A small tornado forms under the cup on the table just then. Helios' eyes flickering a brighter greenish hue. He'll make the cup levitate with a small circular tornado. His right pointer finger moving in a steady constant motion. ] And with that, along with practice? You'll be as good as the best magician.
[Action]
/So perhaps it's less like science and math and more like... music or dancing. Even if's a set composition or choreography, it's all about the feeling and interpretation put into it./
[Action]
Magic is...a lifestyle really. I-I'm not sure what I'd do without having it.
[Action]
[She laughs quietly, trying to imagine a world where magic exists, still quite fascinated by the idea.]
/I guess it's the things you get used to or accustomed to having around. Still, I bet it's wonderful having magic as a part of your life./
[Action]
[ He nods thinking for a good few moments. ] I sometimes wonder what would be different...if my world had no magic.
[ Would Elise be alive? Would he even have met her? So many things to factor into such a question. But that's all it is a hypothetical question. ]
[Action]
/Always the hypothetical questions./ [She's quiet for a bit as she considers the inverse, how things would be different if her world had magic.] /So many alternate possibilities if you think about it, a thousand choices for every single event./
[Action]
[ magic and no magic. It's always an interesting debate. ] A for every thousand choices there's a thousand more in those. It's a intricate web, really. Alternate universes where people aren't who they should be or things have changed for better or worse.
[ He takes a small sip of tea. ]
It's all very interesting.
[Action]
[Ginia sips at her own tea, thinking back on the Hall of Personas and her run-in with her own selves and the ones of Grune and Giles.]
/There's an attraction in the amusement park called the Hall of Personas. It's your standard hall of mirrors, but the reflections shown are... different. So far I've seen myself as a child, myself as a young adult, spoke to Alice in some detail, and saw... what I could have been in another life./
[Action]
It sounds amazing. I wonder how that's even possible. [ A frightening notion along with amazing. Helios and his Mirror self. And then there was...Apep. ] I-I wonder if going into it knowing what's in store is wise. [ He manages a chuckle. ]
My curiosity sometimes gets the better of me I suppose.
[Action]
[Ginia gives a small shrug. How is anything here possible?] /I don't know, but I've certainly taken a few trips back there to see what I see. It's very... enlightening./
[Action]
I've got to see it for myself, certainly. It's far too intriguing to just...pass by. [ He might or might not regret it. ]
[Action]
/Let me know if you want any company./ [It's a friendly offer without too many expectations behind it. She knows how personal some of the reflections can get and how easily it is for previously concealed secrets to come out.]
[Action]
[ There's a small smile on his face. ] Perhaps I'll take you up on that offer. I don't think carnivals have the same energy when you go through them by yourself.
[Action]
No, carnivals are always the most fun in groups. We could see if Giles and Frederic want to go too. Unless you just want to go with them which is entirely understandable since they're your roommates and all./
[there's a tiny pause as she blushes a little and she looks down at her tea.]
/They really missed you./
[Action]
[ He notes the blush and looks away. There's a soft smile on his lips. ]
They did, did they? I-I wasn't gone for too long though. [ Helios will never think much of himself just so Ginia knows. It's a running issue which he's trying to fix. ]
[Action]
[So she's still a little shy when it comes to the whole being friends thing. Don't judge.]
/Yes, but you are their roommate and friend. Even...I was worried./
[Action] this is so laaate
[ Just a laugh and smile from him. Helios will be the last person to judge ever. ]
Ah...t-true. I...I'm not used to many people worrying about me. Silly I know! I just...it just always surprises me. Not, not, as much as it used to but...thank you.
