[ There's a loud splash as someone gets dropped off by the droids...in the river by House 35. The figure that steps out from the embankment is not a familiar face. Most people might not recognize him or perhaps you saw him like this once before. But that's neither here, nor there. Yes, her. The voice over the transmission is completely feminine and most likely unfamiliar. ] Oh for heaven's sake not again.

[ Just an annoyed huff. Wonderful Malnosso, just wonderful. Once again he's a woman. You might hear him mumbling something under his breath as he tries to dry off clothes far too big for him now. Far, far too big since they were his but...well wardrobe change aside not much else has changed this time. Time to go shopping...again. This would be so much easier if he had any fashion sense whatsoever. Mumbled: ] You would think doing this once before would ruin the fun.

[ Oh silly Helios there is always fun to be had in Luceti. Awkward or otherwise, everyone gets involved. He clears her throat before letting out a sheepish laugh. Not very well known, in her tone at least, but the action should be familiar. ] Oh. Um. I'm-I'm back. Did...did anything happen while I was away? [ He realizes shortly afterward no one will actually recognize his voice like this. Derp. Still he sounds none too pleased about the ordeal. Helios will make his way towards the town in seek of more...appropriate clothing. Of course he's really not paying attention, his mind elsewhere at the moment, so...have a blonde haired woman tripping as she walks. A slight 'Ah!' for emphasis. Sad part is that there's not even heels involved this time. Trees. Who put those roots there? ]

... I could at least come over and... and make you and the others tea? Or something? [As if they can't do that themselves. But he wants to visit somehow and it feels weird to just... barge in there.]

[ Helios fortunately understands what Robert is trying to get at. ] That sounds wonderful. Tea or something else if you'd prefer.

[ A pause. ] Perhaps you could meet me half way? We can go back to the apartment together then.

Certainly. Where should I meet you, Helios? [Robert hopes it isn't too far, because his safety is... well, compromised. But hopefully being female-bodied doesn't change the fact Helios has powerful magic?]

And... should I bring anything? Is there even anything I could bring...?

Ah how about near Community Housing four? [ Helios knows the dangers of what they're about to do. He's not sure if Robert should even be out, let alone walking alone at this moment in time. ]

No, no that's not necessary, Robert. Are you...going to be all right? Walking there by yourself I mean.

[Tersely:] With any luck, yes.

[... Okay, so he's not doing the smartest thing here, being off by himself...]

... Though... are you unable to, er, use your magic right now? [Because he's talking to somebody who can teleport. Granted, he'd need his blood to work it.]

[ A wince. ] N-No I can. I just...don't have the proper tools with me at the moment. [ At least not a knife or chalk on hand. ]

I really must learn how people do it without drawing the circle.

Ah... I understand.

... Well, the only thing to do is walk, then... Please give me some time. I will try to arrive promptly.

[And Robert, gauging the fastest direction possible, sets off in pretty much a straight line north. He sticks to bright areas frequented by others, as is usual for him in these situations.

He's also a lot faster than he started off a few months ago, so Helios might be surprised by how quickly he arrives, comparitively.]

All right. I-I'll be there shortly as well.

[ Helios keeps the journal open in case anything should happen to Robert. But so far? Nothing which is good. And yes he is surprised to see the other arrive just as he does as well. ] You got here rather fast. I'm impressed. [ A smile from the unfamiliar woman now in the vicinity. ]

[Well. Helios is certainly pretty right now. It's enough to make Robert stop for a moment, though he smiles too up at Helios.

He's already searching for similarities in this form's structure to the Helios he knows, but it doesn't much matter if there are any. The most important part is that this is his best friend, and he's back.]

Thank you... I am trying to improve.

And you seem to be in good health. [Discounting the obvious of course.]

[ The eyes stay the same at least in both forms. Green like usual and magic will make them aglow with the same intensity. ] You're doing rather well then. It's good. You must feel accomplished, it's very hard to do what you're doing. [ Helios rocks on the balls of his feet. ]

Y-Yes. It could have been worse, I've been telling myself that the entire time. Much worse given the Malnosso and their infamy.

Thanks to Doctor Mizuno, Don, and others, I can... safely say my health has improved significantly.

[Robert falls into step next to Helios, still smiling.] Perhaps they are... going easier on us now...?

... I would like to think so, at least. [Not that it's likely.]

At any rate, I... I think you deserve a nice cup of vanilla chai tea.

If anyone was up to helping you improve your health it would be them. I'm glad though. At least there are good result being shown. Not that I expected otherwise of course. Easier? Perhaps but I'm not so sure the Malnosso would do so, so quickly. Something tells me we have to earn it. [ A laugh, it sounds different in this body, but it's the same laugh Helios always gives. It's accompanied with a sigh and a nod. ]

Vanilla chai? That sounds wonderful. I could definately use a cup.

[Oh, that laugh. Robert missed hearing that laugh, and it's so wonderful to see Helios feeling better and decidedly un-kidnapped. It makes Robert feel... light, almost.]

I would say at least Sir Catherine and Ms. Molly are working to improve the situation...

... And I would be glad to, Helios. If the stores were not closed, I would have also suggested cake...

[Robert's face falls a bit, though. This conversation reminds him of the memorial cheesecake, and he hasn't even gone to make that yet...]

Improving it, yes. I suppose they are at times.

[ He shakes his head holding up a hand. ] It's fine, Robert. Tea is more than enough. We might have something in the kitchen at least. [ Hm hopefully. Even cookies would do. ]

[Knitting his fingers, Robert asks:] I... don't suppose you would wish to help me with something eventually? Just... just a minor baking project I... had in mind...

... For... for two people I know who were... sent home.

And of course, whenever it was... convenient... I would need to see who else would wish to participate.

Oh? I would be delighted too! I do have a good hand at baking. Especially since getting here. A year of practice does wonders for your abilities.

[ His eyes widen a bit. ] I see. I wouldn't mind at all. I'm sure whoever it's for will appreciate you doing this.

[That statement reminds Robert of Mike, and somewhere, it stings.]

... Mike and Ingrid - those were the... people it was for.

[Did Helios ever meet Ingrid? Did he even know Mike was sent home? Robert doesn't know the answer to either of those questions.]

But... but I would appreciate your help. Thank you, Helios.

In the meantime... it will be nice to see all of you together again, now. You, Mr. Chopin, and Giles, I mean.

Mike...and Ingrid? Ingrid you, you've mentioned her before haven't you? I'm so sorry Robert. I-I didn't know. I-I mean I knew about Ingrid from Giles, but Mike... [ He looks down at the ground. ]

It's no trouble. Anything I can do help. Mm it's not that we haven't been together. It's just...nice being back here. One of us always seems to be getting into some sort of trouble. [ Another soft laugh. ]

[For those keeping tabs, it means that only three Hamatos are even left now. And that hurts to think about.]

Ah... yes, that, er, does seem to happen with you three.

[Part of him wonders if it'll ever be "you four", if he'll ever be part of that. Likely not.

It doesn't matter, or at least he tells himself it doesn't.]

At any rate. I... I will be glad to serve all three of you. You must all deserve a respite.

Well, I did say I would... [He offers Helios a somewhat brighter smile, striving somewhat ineffectually toward complete normalcy (it falls just a little short, with those exclusionary thoughts).]

I just, er, hope Mr. Chopin is... alright with my presence. [Their last couple of conversations had been... awkward.]

Why wouldn't he be? [ It's an honest question and Helios looks a bit concerned. ]

I am afraid I... have a tendency to upset him. We have only spoken thrice, but... I have angered him each time, unintentionally.

[Robert hunches his shoulders a bit. How does he admit to Helios that one of his friends probably dislikes him and doesn't want him around, and that makes him upset?]

Ah. Robert... [ Helios looks apologetic. Had he known...he wouldn't have brought it up. ]

Frederic...can be a bit difficult to talk to at times. I-I'm sure it was just the moment when you spoke to him. [ It's a bit awkward hearing this news. Helios knows that not everyone will get along, true, but when two of his good friends weren't...it made things so much more strained. ]

[It's not just awkward for Helios; it's also awkward for Robert. He feels like he's just getting in the way.]

... If he really does dislike me, though, I... I do not want to become a burden... either for yourself or for him.
