Th-there's many way, really. [ It was accident he knew it was an accident. But he couldn't change what happened, couldn't even do anything to bring her back. The people in his world had all the reason to think him anything less than wonderful. He still thinks himself a horrible person and quite possibly always will. ]

I guess it's all a matter of someone's perspective.
