ϡ - Chapter Seventeen; in which one becomes a dragon [action]

[ Anyone in the vicinity of Community Housing 7 will, at that moment, hear a very loud roar coming from apartment 22 on floor 5. The glass of the windows in the kitchen will shatter and go flying and there will be some smoke coming out from the windows. Also if you come to investigate you'll see deep claw markings in the door's entry way. Whoops Helios is honestly sorry about that Frederic. He'll apologize later for the mess and for waking you up, he was just startled, hence the roar which would have been a yell but you know...translations and all. He had to leave before he got any bigger and destroyed the entire apartment. At least the houses fix themselves.

There is a golden scaled dragon in your town today Luceti and it looks vicious, but honestly it's pretty derpy and harmless. Well besides his tail, which he still hasn't gotten control of just yet. You also might feel your room shake as he walks by your house/apartment complex. He's about the size of a large house and he's wearing glass which apparently changed with his size, the Malnosso like to joke don't they? You'll also see his tiny golden green tipped wings beside his more larger golden ones. It's a clue as to who it is but he'll answer you if you ask. This dragon is on a mission, albeit a futile one. You might see him walking a bit in the woods and eventually ending up in front of the Bakery. Sweets...he wanted some and now he can't even fit through the door. He'll be sitting on his hind legs, tail curled around him and a clawed hand rubbing his chin. Indiscreet? Never, not when baked goods are concerned. He's trying to devise a way to get in there...but without doing some serious damage there are no options. No matter he doesn't want to alarm anyone so sometime later he will make his way down to the lake and there he will be, talking to himself, and staying there for the majority of well...however long this decides to last. He's honestly not going to be able to make a voice post with huge vicious claws anytime soon. Besides he can probably be heard from anywhere anyway; his voice carries nicely in this form.
]

Oh for goodness sake I don't know how they deal with being this large. [ There's a pause and a snort. ] I suppose the experiment is still going on then. [ Another sigh though it sounds more like an annoyed growl. ] But they can change their forms into humans. I wonder if I can just get that right...and then there is the ring. [ He will just be babbling don't mind the brooding dragon, lounging beside the lake, tapping a clawed hand into the ground folks. He is merely thinking and when Helios thinks it's usually good...sometimes. But you might want to watch the tail it's swaying erratically because that thing has a mind of its own. ]

((ooc; So you can meet him at any point in time! The time continuum is pretty broken in this post. While he's walking, at the bakery, or in the woods by the lake just specify I guess. Also he's going to stick out like a sore thumb anywhere he goes anyway. I'll be replying with [livejournal.com profile] isthemyth for icon convenience. Also replies will be delayed since I has class~))

Would they be in any books found in the library? I can't imagine spells not being written down, it's difficult remembering them completely by memory after all. [ Even though he has but then again there are still some he's not aware of or fully able to recite. ]

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 02:34 am (UTC)(link)
Well...I don't know. Since I don't know what spells I need to learn, I wouldn't be able to find the right book.

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
Hm. That is a bit troublesome.

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 03:17 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, but that's alright though. Being small during the night isn't too bothersome.

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 05:11 am (UTC)(link)
Are you certain? I'd think it'd be easy to lose you like that. [ He gives another deep chuckle. ] But you're probably used to it by now hm?

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
Well, it only happens at night, and I glow then, so I'm not too hard to find.

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 08:00 pm (UTC)(link)
Only at night? Well I suppose it's better than all the time. I'm having difficulty being this large all the time. I imagine being small is much of the same thing. But the glowing certainly helps with that.

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-01 08:03 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes, it's the opposite for demons that haven't mastered all their magic. They have to be small all day. It's something you get used to pretty quickly though!

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-04 01:13 am (UTC)(link)
It seems like it! But do you know the reason why exactly? I've just never heard of such things being associated with angels and demons before.

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-04 01:32 am (UTC)(link)
It's because of out magic. Once we have mastered all our magic, we're strong enough to keep our bigger forms all the time.

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-04 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
Ah! Yes that makes sense. I thought perhaps it would have been something else. Angels and Demons do have stipulations as far as powers are concerned.

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-04 05:10 am (UTC)(link)
Demons are just the complete opposite of angels with everything but magic really.

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-04 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
Angels and Demons where I'm from are actually the same thing, or one belief is that. Fallen angels they're technically called.

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-04 05:56 am (UTC)(link)
...Fallen angels? I've never heard of that before...

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-04 06:27 am (UTC)(link)
It's a popular story in my world. Angels and demons are enemies of one another and those angels who fell followed one named Lucifer. Lucifer was cast out of heaven because he did not love humans and would not show devotion to God's greatest creation, man. He was therefore punished for going against God. His followers therefore fell with him.

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-04 06:33 am (UTC)(link)
...That's nothing like in my world..

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-05 08:57 am (UTC)(link)
Well yes I suppose there's many different versions. I mean there are several just in my world alone. For instance, demons being impure spirits is another belief among people.

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-05 09:00 am (UTC)(link)
I've heard of a few here too...I'm really curious about why someone would think angels can't feel pain.

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-05 09:20 am (UTC)(link)
I'm not sure. It might be due to them not actually owning the body they're in. Like the vessels I was telling you about. Angels are incorporeal beings, meaning they don't essentially have a form. So perhaps that's one reason why?

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-05 10:12 am (UTC)(link)
Maybe. It just seems strange to me since this is my real body.

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-05 08:40 pm (UTC)(link)
[ He taps his claw against his chin. ]

I think an angel from my world might find that strange. Though some of them might even like the idea. I'll have to bring it up to them when we get back to our own worlds.

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-06 12:16 am (UTC)(link)
I wish I could meet them. Angels from different worlds would be nice to meet.

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-06 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
I think you would like a few of my angel students. They're a bit grumpy sometimes, Altor especially, but they open up quite quickly to others.

You'd fit in quite well I think at the Academy.

[identity profile] amber-arcangel.livejournal.com 2010-12-06 04:19 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds a little like an angel I know.

...You think so..?

[identity profile] isthemyth.livejournal.com 2010-12-06 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
Oh?

Certainly! The Academy is opened to everyone, human, angel, all sorts of beings.
