ϡ - chapter fifteen; not so normal return [action]

[ There is a point in one's life that you sometimes become too accustomed to notice anything wrong. This instance is only amplified by the person being absentminded. Said person being Helios is quite capable at being an absentminded derp. Safe to say he, or maybe I should say she, is back. If you are by the forest today you will get a lovely woman’s scream radiating from none other than a ~~hot~~ startled blonde haired woman. She looks absolutely mortified and is currently wearing a beautiful yellow sundress with matching white open toed heels. She’s got a bit of a confused look and her wings, still the same emerald green and yellow, flutter a little as she moves about the trees almost with some stealth only…the poor thing is Helios after all so tripping on an uprooted tree root sends her falling forward, catching herself on a nearby tree. ]

I-I can’t believe this. Of all the things they would do. It could be worse I suppose. Oh dear I just…ah which way was the town again?

[ She’ll be stumbling along out of the woods and into an clearing that’s almost familiar. A huff escapes parted lips. ] Of all the places to put me. Humph you would think they have some common courtesy—[She doesn’t finish because yeah that heel decides to snap and she almost goes down again. ] Ah—oh my I think the heel broke. [She's just frowning looking at it in dismay. It is just not Helios's day today. Barefoot it is. ] How do they ever walk in these things? [ She will be hurriedly moving towards the shelter of a building not really wanting to encounter anyone like this of all things. She’s definitely acting strange as she looks down once more face going pale as she does so. ]

Ev-everything will be fine. Haha yes this isn’t so bad. [ She doesn't sound very convinced but you know it's not everyday you wake up as a woman. Unless you're like starring in the Hot Chick or something. Don't mind her mumbling to herself though and now walking barefoot, yup. She's just going as fast as possible to Community Housing Seven and lock herself in her room until everything goes back to normal. You are free to prohibit her as much as you like to making it to that destination. ]

[He stumbles backwards away from her and has a bright red colored face as he's breathing a bit heavy from being so embarrassed by that little accident he had.] Please forgive me, that was unacceptable and I had no intentions of doing such a vile thing.

[A blush still covers his face as he looks away from and trembles a bit, he can't believe he did that in the first place.] I-I suppose we are.

[ She'll removed her hand from her mouth smiling. Her cheeks are still a rosy shade but she's not as bad as Frederic. ] Then...there's no need to apologize correct?

[ She draws up both her legs to her knees before nodding and then getting up. She offers him a hand as well laughing a little. ] Shall we try it again? Hopefully I won't land on you this time.

[He takes her hand slowly, still trembling even as he begins getting up. With a small frown, he turns his face away from her and still blushes.] I haven't felt this guilty about doing something since... [He pauses and shakes his head, no need to dwell on that.] Never mind. Shall we sit on the couch and try to relax?

[ She looks at him a bit inquisitively. ] It's always better to talk about things you know! Even if they're--ah, embarrassing. Yes I'd like that. [ She'll smile and wait for him to lead the way. ]

[He leads her to the couch and sits down as he remains quiet for most of the time before he looks back at her.] Do you feel any better? Meaning your memories.

[ She's looking about the room all the papers, all the furniture. It's...sparking some memories at least. So she nods. ] I'm perfectly fine they're--there just not as sharp as they would be. I mean I know magic and all that, quite fine actually, but I can't... [ She bites her lip shaking her head. ] seem to recall things as good. It was fine before I felt fine and now. It must have just taken the effects longer to work. [ She'll turn towards him. ] Are you all right?

[He puts on a fake smile for her.] I'm just how I usually am, you know. I did attempt to clean while you were away, but I didn't get very far. [He sighs and looks away at some of the composition papers he left on the coffee table.] All my mind has thought about is you and Feliks, sometimes I think you two don't really need me after all.

[ She looks around with some approval. ] I think you did quite well. It looks nice, better than the way I had left it I think.

[ Helena can't help but laugh at that. ] That's just ridiculous. Don't need you, Frederic? If weren't for you I might not have ended up back here and ah--I know something inside me [ she touches the place on her chest where her heart resides. ] tells me you're an important friend to me.

I was, before you became this. But after you left, I felt alone and empty. [He looks very depressed and simply looks down at his compositions.] I couldn't even finish these compositions because of how miserable I was. I thought of visiting Feliks, but I don't even know what apartment he lives in and I rarely see him in town.

[He gets up from the couch and walks over to the window, still looking miserable.] Maybe I am meant to be alone after all. Who wants someone like me for a friend? I'm worthless and cold hearted.

[ She watches with a dour look on her own features. Listening to the other as he says all these things. Him and Helios...they must have been very close. She feels terrible because she's not--she's not Helios but somewhere in there she's actually feels like comforting him. ]

No. I don't think that at all Frederic. You're not as cold hearted as you believe, because if you were I...I don't think you'd have Helios to care about you like I feel he does. [ She's standing beside him now looking out the window and then towards him. She smiles though and then almost unconsciously she gives him a hug. And she'll whisper these words in his ear. ] You're far too hard on yourself. [ She pulls away a smile now on her face. ]

[His face colors a light pink when she hugs him and whispers into his ear, he'll slowly turn around as he stares at her and then slowly walks over to where she is. Ever slowly, he reaches out and gently hugs her in return as he leans his lips near her ear.] Thank you. [One of his hands takes hers to kiss it gently with a soft smile.] You're such a kind woman, Helena. I wish we could get to know one another better.

Oh but you know me quite well already. I'm simply a byproduct of the Malnosso's experiment. Helios is the one you should thank--ah I mean when he returns. [ She has a small blush on her cheeks from that kiss. A smile ever so apparent on her face. ]

Helena, Helios, no matter who you are, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. You're a good friend and someone whom I care for, I'd never ask for a better friend. [He still holds onto her hand and bows to her.]

[ She blushes even more at that using her other hand to wave him off. ] O-Oh! You, you don't have to do that, Frederic! It's nothing special really. I simply don't wish to see you so upset!

[He gently embraces her and lays his head on her shoulder.] I'm so sorry for such forwardness as this, but I truly need someone close to me. I-I promise to never do something so rash as this ever again.

[ She shifts a little, not entirely comfortable with the situation. Being embraced like this...it's a lot in one instance but then again she could make exceptions especially for such a dear friend. She smiles one hand lightly touching him on the back. ] There's no need to be sorry. I'm just glad I could help in some way.

[He feels warm in her arms and smiles gently as he continues to hold her close, a small smile curling up on his lips.] That fills me with such joy to know you care so much.

[ These actions, this...this scenario it was all so familiar to her. But why, why couldn't she remember at the moment? Her other arm reaches around as well finishing that embrace. She'll pull away so she can get a better look at him, smiling all the while. ] Of course, we are friends aren't we? It's only natural after all.

[He nods as he stares at into her eyes, a small blush covering his cheeks all the while.] Y-Yes, friends. [Something inside of him seem to make him feel strange, he couldn't be could he? No, he couldn't be.]

Mm is something wrong? [ And then she realizes how close they are. They are friends but...it's more than that she feels. Friendship can only sum up so much, but at this--what did one call it? ]

No... [His face leans in closer to hers with a deep blush. Indeed, friendship can only sum up so much, but he feels something more for her.]

[ She fidgets a little. There was something there but she didn't know what. A fear of such close proximity? No that was not her but him she knew Frederic wouldn't do anything and she felt safe like this oddly enough. Yet her heart was racing and she could hear the rhythmic beats in her ears. She swallowed thickly her voice coming out barely above a whisper. Her face getting unexpectedly hot at the closeness in this instance. ] Frederic?

[The warmth of their bodies being so close and the heat from both of their faces makes him shiver a little. His hold on her body is very tight and his own voice is but a whisper to her ears.] He-Helena... I... [Finally something from inside of him slowly comes up as his lips gently press themselves against hers.]

[ She wasn't expecting that, she wasn't expecting a lot of things. But it's funny how in a matter of moments the mood and atmosphere can change. Also the interaction between two people; she was almost hesitant to return that feeling back mainly because what would it do to Helios? Especially since she now knew that she was indeed something like an extension of him? Despite the confusion and everything else she felt terrible to have the man have to deal with the aftermath of all this; but...she too was caught up in the moment. She gives a reciprocated kiss with the same intensity. ]

[He pulls away after a few minutes of kissing her, a deep red blush covering his face as he stares at her. Taking her hands into his, he walks silently with her over to the couch. Once they sit together again, his fingers stroke her lips gently as his lips kiss her cheeks and neck ever so gently.]
