ϡ - Chapter One; we all fall...in [voice]
[ There’s a very loud thud as something crashes to the ground from the sky. The journal turns on from the subsequent actions of the fallen object nearby. Most likely a body, actually it is, and a cough erupts through the preceding silence. So if you're out wandering about in the woods to the left of the village you'll find a blonde haired man walking around very confused albeit chipper and amused. ]
Haha! That wasn’t the entrance I was expecting! Marvelous how snow can break a fall though! I think if it were anything else I might not have been as fortunate. Must thank Mother Nature when I get back! She always does such a wonderful job with the seasons. But, oh my, th-this place is certainly rural. I-I don’t think this is Romania, ah, no, probably not. At least not any part I'm familiar with. The mountains perhaps? I've always wanted to visit those; they're always so magnificent this time of year. [ There's rustling as if the man whom the voice belongs to is looking around. He still hasn't noticed the journal so he continues on. ]
Hmm. Hello?! Anyone out there? Ah, well as long as there aren't any Yetis here think I'll be quite all right, or those pesky pixies. They always were a fussy bunch. Something seems…a bit different though and I’ve lost my clothes too. I rather liked that outfit, a bit too cold to go without a shirt though. [ Some more silence...wait for, wait for it...bingo! Clothes have been spotted. ]
Ah hah!
[ There’s another pause for a few moments with only ruffling and shifting of fabric against skin and against one another. Fortunately our headmaster's clothes were neatly placed beside him in the snow, how nice! ]
That’s better at least I won't get frost-! What...are those. Wings?! How…how absolutely fantastic! I’ve always wanted to know what it felt like to have them! This place is getting better by the moment! I simply have to investigate now! I think I'll be needing a pair of scissors actually, there aren't any holes in the back of my shirt...

[Voice] fail what fail? Idk what ur talkin' about~
[Voice] Glad you see things my way. :D
Are you new around here then? Do you need someone to fetch you?
[Voice] I'm pretty chill bout that yo
Ah! I am actually. I suppose it was obvious, haha. I've been following this river...but I don't know how much success it's really been.
[Voice]
Just a little. You might be headed the wrong way. I know some people ended up in the mountains instead.
[Voice]
Oh dear that would be a bit of a problem, wouldn't it? I'm definately not properly dressed for the cold. [ Not like it has a profound effect on his body anymore anyway, but you don't need to know that. ]
[Voice]
[Voice]
[Voice]
... Sounds good then. I should be able to spot that in a while.
[Voice]
[ A few more moments and there's the sounds of twigs breaking as he builds a makeshift fire. There's a 'fwoomp' sound from the transmission. He's currently holding his journal in one hand and a ball of fire in the other but shortly afterward crackling signifies that the fire has been started! ]
Well that should do it! Just look for the smoke.
[Voice]
Also, he's headed out, going to look for you now, Helios.]
[Voice]
Oh goodie. He'll be sitting quite contently by his non-magic induced fire. ]
[Voice--->Action]
[Voice]
[ Take your time! He's admiring the landscape anyway~ He also might be having the fire do some dancing too. A swirl here, a swirl there you've got him thinking now. Perhaps he doesn't have to keep himself concealed like back at home after all. ]
[Voice]
[He's headed your way, Helios. Give him around five to ten minutes and he'll be there.]
[Voice]
[Voice--->Action]
[Oh, there you are. Closing his journal then.]
You'd probably find others who enjoys playing around at least. [He means your fire there, watching in amusement.]
[Action]
Forgive me I-I didn't notice you were there! I suppose I should apologize for lying, then. It's not that I want to, you see, but where I come from magic is somewhat hidden and not widely accepted. I guess the cat is out of the bag now!
[Action]
Don't worry about it. You're not the first person to be worried about that. [And to prove it, he raises a hand and comes up with a small water spell from the ice around them, making it dance similarly to what Helios did a while ago.] Of course, this one is from the local spirits, so it's not as powerful as the runes back home.
[Action]
[ He watches, interested all the while, a hand to his chin. ] Fascinating. Of course the spirits I'll have to contact them someday...
[Action]
Some of them are harder to contact than others. Nala is the safest choice for starters, and the most useful if you need to heal wounds.
[Action]
Nala, hm? I'll have to give it shot one of these days. I think I'll have a lot of time on my hands from now on anyway!
[Action]
I'm Ted, by the way. What's your name?
[Action]
Helios Sprensonne! But Helios will do just fine! It's a pleasure to meet you, Ted. I'm sincerely grateful for everything, really, coming out here in this weather and all.
[Action]
Shall we head back then?
[Action]
Right! Yes of course! Please lead the way, I'll follow.
