[ Sup Luceti. You residential mythology derp is walking around his house, though he seems confused, very confused. You might hear a thud and a small hiss of pain as he ~~stupidly, clumsily~~ absentmindedly walked into a wall. He wasn't paying attention, you see, and for good reasons. Someone's room is empty and it isn't his. ]

...Ted? Hm...no, not there either. Er, oh. Oh dear. All his belongings are gone. [ If you could see his face he'd be wearing his sad puppy pout. ]

I'm terribly sorry for anyone who knew him, but I do believe Ted has been--sent back home. It suddenly seems a bit more...empty, doesn't it? Ah, I guess that feeling is characteristic for such an event. I- I do hope he's all right, back in his world. [ Housemate buddy Helios wishes you the best. ]

Ah, so you knew him as well, Ms. Sage?

That's right... I've known him since he arrived here. I didn't realize you were roommates, however.

The idea will take some time to get used to, but... I am used to many coming and going here.

Discuss? [ He pauses thinking about it. What could there possibly be. He might have an idea, but it's better to just ask. ]

It is my understanding that you've been speaking to Donatello about his plans for the schoolyard. Is this correct?

Hm. Donatello- OH! Yes, yes, the schoolyard project. He asked me to set up a barrier around it.

That's right... I was hoping to find out more about what it entails, since it sounds like a risk.

Risk...ah- I assure you it's not that bad. The spell's mechanics are fairly simple, and easy to upkeep.

May I ask what these mechanics are?

[ He sighs. He's still wary about divulging this type of spell, dealing with blood and all, it's probably going to be very off putting. ]

Ah no need to go into details. But it's not dangerous to anyone, I assure you that. [ Besides himself, but he hardly cares about that when others are involved. ]

[Raine's wary about the entire spell to begin with, so she's not intending to let him get away with brushing it off.]

It's not that I'm doubting your good word. But you must understand why I have these concerns. There's also the question of what happens if you, like Ted, are also released from this world.

Oh, yes of course, I understand completely. There is that, too. I can't quite say what it is that will happen, should I been sent back to my own world.

It seems one of the most important questions is still left unanswered.

Is there any way that... others could learn this spell?

Hm. [ Why didn't he think of- never mind. ]

Actually there might be a way, what with the abilities of the people here. Yes...I think it might be possible. [ Now he just needs someone willing ~~or stupid~~ enough to want to try it. ]

Then it might be best to create those options as well. Although... it would help to know what the exact effects of this spell would be.

Effects, hmm. Well besides a bit of fatigue there's not much else. The barrier itself can be maintained by the creator to allow others entry. Those who do not have permission will be pushed back from the area, and of course the person who made the barrier would be able to sense the unwanted presence.

And how would the permissions be maintained, with the way that people come and go?

Well the spell allows for it be quite specific. So, in terms of coming and going, you simply need for the people you want to allow inside it to write their names down on a piece of paper. And on that same sheet of paper, with a small amount of blood a simple seal-

[ He pauses because he doesn't know what sort of reaction he'll get from the other. Even in his world this magic is taboo, so it's probably not going to be much better here. But he continues regardless, if he wants to help and divulging such information is necessary then he will. ]

It sounds like some form of ritual. But what happens if something ill befalls the the caster?

Ritual...hm you could say that, there are a few steps after all. The barrier should hold, technically. Aliments aren't much of an issue unless they're life threatening. [ Obviously death would cancel it completely but he's hoping not to die anytime soon. ]
