[ The light rain in the enclosure does not stop Helios today. He's feeling rather happy and in a mood to share the wonderful change to the outside of House 44. Who knows, maybe someone else would like to do it as well, it's only fair to make people aware of the changes allowed. So the video feed with kick on with Helios smiling happily and a rather gorgeous looking castle in the background. ] I'm happy to say that the shift acquired to t-turn one of the houses here has worked quite well so far. I wasn't sure if anyone was into this sort of thing but, ah, it's a nice reminder of home. I just wanted to show people that we can actually change the outward appearances of the houses here. The inside still remains the same however, but it's an improvement I think.

[ And with that happy note he'll close the video feed and continue on his way into town. So any passerby who is around town will note the stand he’s put up covered with delectable sweets and treats. It’s mainly for the new feathers but anyone is welcome to stop by and have some. People are free to stay in the surprisingly dry bubble around said stand when the rain is especially hard. ]

So it seems like new feather arrivals are upon us once more. It’s very nice to meet you all. I-I hope you get situated relatively quickly. It can be a bit daunting, I know, but if there’s anything you need help with don’t hesitate to ask around. Everyone here is very friendly and rather open when it comes to helping out. If you’re in the village this afternoon I’ve setup a stand with, ah, some sweets should anyone want some. There’s no need to be shy either! These are for everyone, old and new, so stop on by if you’re hungry or just need something sweet.

[ Helios is very chipper and it’s clear that he’s open towards anyone taking the baked goods he’s offering. ]

As for more serious business, I’d like to make an announcement to the village as a whole. Last year we had something known as the Cultural Fair in Luceti, wherein people setup stands and booths that displayed and portrayed parts of their home worlds. It can be whatever you want to show; whether it’s food, games, or even pictorial representations of indigenous species in your world. Anything and everything is allowed ah, well, as long as it’s safe and not t-too terribly messy of course! The fair is going to occur in June fifth. There are posters around town if you haven’t already seen them which also advertise the fair as well. If you have any questions I-I’m open towards talking about it. Or, ah, if you attend the school Professor Raine or Professor Layton can help you with any questions you have as well.

[ And then he’ll pause again before humming slightly as he collects his thoughts. ]

Ah yes! There is one more thing. The magic club which was run previously by Harry Dresden has been absent of late. I-I do want to continue the various projects and meetings if anyone from the prior club still wished to partake in such activities. I-I think coming together and pooling our skills collectively could really turn up some…interesting ideas and prospective projects to help the village along. Perhaps we could have another meeting a week or so after the cultural fair to discuss some things in more detail. I-I would just like people to respond if-if you’re still interested in, ah, learning or doing anything with the club in general. Story? Oh! Um. It-it used to be run by a man named Harry Dresden but he's since left the enclosure. I-I didn't want his ideas or anyone else's to go to waste so...

[ He thought it might be nice to reopen the prospect of having the magic club meet again. ]

You're certainly welcome to drop by when the meeting is. You're rather capable of learning magic s-so you might even enjoy it! But, ah, only if you wanted to of course.

Yeah, plus I've been making some progress here and there... alright! I've got my Brigade duties, so it's not like I'm going to commit wholeheartedly to some other organization, but I'll consider seeing what it's about.

[She said as if.

[ Oh. Well then. Helios is silent for a moment but the upbeat tone in his voice doesn't change all that much. Though he does sound a bit concerned... ]

Ah. That's perfectly alright. It's not mandatory after all. Only if you want to stop by.

[ He pauses. ] Is. Is everything alright, Haruhi?

Why wouldn't it be?

[Other than her best friend went home not all that long ago]

Ah. N-No reason, really. I was just...um wondering. It's been awhile since we last spoke is all. And-and with the draft being as crazy as it was... [ He was mildly concerned for everyone he knew here, that's just how Helios was though. ]

I wasn't even in the draft. [Sigh] Besides, that was a fair while ago now.

I-I know. But the aftermath still has a way of cropping up when people are stressed out and-and things like that. [ A pause. ]

Not that you are. It's just something that could happen...but if-if you're sure everything is fine then I won't press.

[Yeah, and Rhyme died, didn't she? It's appalling how she only really thinks of this now, as overwhelmed as she's been by Shiki being returned to live. She sighs and shakes her head. She relies on Helios on some levels, that's certain, but this emotional one...? Not really]

I said I'm fine, Helios. It's fine, don't worry, jeez.

Ah alright. I-I apologize for-for being a bit nosy. I just tend to, um, worry about my students. But if you're certain then I won't pry.

[ It's not really his business after all. ]

I don't mind. [Not much. She tuts] It's basically a teacher's job to be like that anyway, so it doesn't really matter. [...She should ask about him. But.. no]

Is that castle that big on the inside?

Mm? Oh, um, no. It's actually the same looking on the inside. I suspect it would have cost another additional eighty points to-to have them change the interior. Besides I'm not sure how receptive Adele and Sabriel would have been to that drastic change. Just the outside is different, but I'm sure you can make the inside look like a castle too.

[ Maybe if he was living alone he would try it, but with so many people living in the house it was only proper to leave it as is for now. ]

So basically... it's slightly smaller on the inside than it is on the outside?

Ah, I suppose you could say that. I think they just proportioned it to be the same as the house. But I honestly couldn't say. Either way it's a nice change of pace. It reminds me of home just a bit more.

[ And he sounds wistful and preoccupied after saying that. He was missing the castle now that he thought about. The old creaky stairs that led to the dormitories, the etched stone gargoyles that stood watch over the courtyard, and even the scent of delicious food and tea that managed to infuse itself in all corners of the dining hall. ]

It's not exactly the same but, well, I think it just needs to be broken in.

It is very cool, admittedly. [Actually, she's a little put out she never though to do something like that herself, that would be cool. With Shiki gone, maybe she actually should. Who cares what Beat and Rhyme think]

If you could change your own house into something, what would you pick?

[ He is a bit curious to know what other people would choose. Though he thinks that it would be fantastic to see a wide array of differing architecture around the enclosure. It would make things more...personable and feel a bit more like they had some choice on how things looked. ]

A spaceship, obviously! Castles or secret labs or anything like that have their merits, of course, but who can actually say they lived in a ground space ship before here! Besides, I might even be able to make it fly!

[ Helios laughs on his end. ] You do have point. That would be something, I'm sure more than a good few people would get a kick out of it. Not many have probably seen a spaceship after all. If I ever get the boat to fly, perhaps I could work on your house.

[ He has that in a teasing manner, but he totally means it okay? ]

[ Helios pauses on his end and then laughs. ]

Well I better get working on it then. We'll see what I can do.
