[ Good afternoon Luceti; if you’re in town today you’ll notice some large lumbering pure white figures walking or flying about. No they aren’t harmful in the least, although the creatures they take after might argue otherwise, and they are not yetis or other such things that come out in the thickest of snowfalls. What they are the products of one derpy headmaster feeling the Christmas cheer thanks to the effects the Malnosso have put in place and him waking up very early in the morning after the snowfall last night to make said creatures. There will be various mythological snow creatures walking about today though none of them can make much noise or do much of anything, they’re pretty docile actually and if you wanted to you could probably even ride on top of them; they won't mind, really! There will be a dragon with icicles for horns and teeth in the town plaza and it'll greet people who enter the town with a happy flick of its tail. Helios will be there for a good portion of the day also making a majestic Griffin, and a snow unicorn. That’s not to say these are the only things that’ll be popping up. Other mythological creatures might be seen around as well. Phoenixes, mandrakes, minotaurs, kitsunes, Kodama in the more forested areas and even a Nue. The list is really endless and Helios has been having too much fun doing this again this year. There's a stand nearby as well with hot chocolate and other warm beverages as well. As for the mythologies most of them will be life sized but nothing too extravagant or outlandish. The tallest would be around ten or so feet tall, while others miniatures in size. They’ll all be moving and just mulling about and you can be sure they’re movements are quite like the real things if you’ve ever encountered one.

The mythologies can be interacted with through the entire day with Helios sometimes in accompaniment. And later into the afternoon Helios will be found in the town square with his snowy dragon companion making your standard issued snowmen, each one getting their own complimentary hat, scarf, and pipe. He'll take a break and eventually pull out his journal for a short little network post. Maggir and Luminair aren’t with him, due to the cold, but the snowy little dragon following Helios around sure does resemble his baby dragon back at home! ]

Ah I love it when it snows like this, there’s an ethereal sort of calm that comes with snowfall don’t you think? The way it falls silently and blankets everything in white...it’s rather beautiful and it’s come just in time. I was wondering if we were going to get any this year. [ He sounds pleased that they have though. ]

If, if anyone remembers from last year...I-ah, made a bunch of-of snow mythica around the town. S-So if you run into any today don’t be alarmed! They’re made purely out of snow a-and they're very friendly too! They tend to, um, take after the one wh-who makes them. [ Clearing his throat now. ]

If anyone has any other creatures from their own worlds they’d like to make and animate, I can certainly take requests! You’re more than welcome to ask too, don’t be shy! I do love making snowmen and it’s almost Christmas! Spreading the holiday cheer is what it’s all about right about now! Santa would probably be proud, he is a very kind and generous sort of man; he always was very good with giving out the compliments, too. Speaking of myths...has anyone heard about a being called Yuki-onna? It’s one of the better known ones in my world, Japanese in origin, but they stories describe her as a tall and beautiful woman with black hair and blue lips. She's said to be quite cold, figuratively and literally, but she also has a more motherly and good side to her too. The Snow Queen is another one, based on Yuki-onnas, and then there's even Jack Frost too! Jack Frost is...well, he's a personification of cold and crisp winter weather. He's also a variant of Old Man Winter, but the important thing to note is that Jack Frost symbolizes the youthful nature and wonder of children playing in the snow. And then there's Kuraokami, a dragon of rain and snow in Japan. He's quite the talker as well, but very good at ice sculptures. I learned that the hard way.

[ Helios laughs because that was a bad bet to get into. He totally knows this from experience guys. Not like anyone is surprised anymore. ]

I wonder if Santa will stop by Luceti too. Ah, well, that’s left to speculation at this point. It makes you wonder if the people here had someone like him to go around and give presents to them too. Or if they even had a holiday like Christmas at all. [ So many questions, so many left unanswered! ]

I do hope everyone has a good holiday though; you can never get too into the spirit of things.

[ Finally around later in the evening all the snow mythica will go back to being their snowy, sculptural selves, and can be found throughout the village in regal more natural poses. ]

[Loki's grin only broadens when he sees the dragon. Because flying on top of a dragon is definitely one of his favorite things.]

My, Helios, you and your uncanny ability to guess what is my favorite pasttime!

I do think Kuraokami is a name that is too complicated. I shall call it Bob.

[He leans towards the dragon.]

Yes, Bob?

Oh, no. It's not really all that uncanny for it to be a favorite past time for people here, is all. A lucky guess I-I suppose.

[ Helios blinks and then laughs heartily at that. Bob hm? The dragon doesn't seem to mind as it snorts and shakes its head, clawing at the ground as it does so. ]

I do believe Kurao-ah, Bob wants to let you take a flight with him.

A lucky guess indeed.

[Loki smirks in a smug way, pleased to know that he has been so very, very right again.]

Excellent. I can tell you that this is completely mutual.

[Slowly he turns and moves to climb off the snow creature he has been sitting on.]

He's been on the ground since I made him. I guess even snow dragons need to stretch their wings sometimes. [ And Helios will stretch his own. ]

A shame that ours can't actually grant us flight. I'd love to see the town with snow covering it from the air. [ But maybe with Bob he can actually do that now. ]

[Loki joins Helios on Bob's back, crawling carefully towards the head because he wants front seats.]

I am most sure that Bob is able to grant your wish with flying around, right? Right, right, right.

[He sits down carefully and ajusts his scarf a little.]

There is so much more we can do from the sky, Helios...

Oh but of course. I can't imagine him not wanting to fly either. Dragons do love to take to the air rather than stay on the ground.

[ The dragon will shift once Helios and Loki are secure. Its head will turn around to look at Helios, who gives the go ahead to kick off. Bob's wings will stretch to their full length and it'll shift to its back legs. Were there any muscle to feel all of them would tighten at the act. And then in one powerful burst it'll jump several feet into the air and beat its massive wings as Helios gives it an extra boost of wind to carry it up further into the sky. ] Here we go!

[ It's exhilarating and freeing and Helios' excitement can be heard in his voice as lets out a laugh. ]

[Bob is quite large, definitely larger than Hiccup's dragon.]

This is an interesting type of magic, Helios. I wish to teach this as well.

[Because really, this is quite cool, in every sense of the word. Loki braces himself for the cold and wind that will undoubtly freeze his nose off. Jotun or not, the inability to feel warmth made him rather vulnerable to cold.]

I demand barrel rolls and loopings, Helios. Can Bob do some?

Oh! Enchanting you mean? It's, uh, quite simple. B-But it takes a good while to-to be able to make things like this. I think you'll take to it very well though. It's more fine tuned than other branches of magic in my world.

[ Helios pats Bob's side again, chuckling at the request. It's a slightly nervous chuckle too because that sounds, well, it sounds exhilarating but dangerous. Then again this was Loki...he's not sure if he expected much less. ]

You-you heard him. A loop de loop first and then we can try one of those barrel rolls. [ The dragon will beat its wings against the air as it gains speed and momentum. It'll dip low and then with a few powerful strokes it'll curse through the air. ] Hold on tight!

[ On loop here we go, and the world will turn upside down as Helios braces himself against the change of position in the air. ]

I see, I see.

[Loki's voice is soft and he wonders if he actually could pull off such a thing. But right now ther are other things that need his immediate attention. He braces himself, quite sure that a dragon of this size would make much larger loopings as well.

He holds on tightly, slightly leaning forward while the dragon gains speed, flapping its giant wings faster.

And when the looping started and the barrel roll followed Loki throws his hands in the air, shouting happily. Its freezing cold and his fingers hurt from the beginnings of frostbite...but it is all so worth it.]

[ Helios' response to the loop and barrel roll is slightly stunted because good lord they were high up and that was a lot of energy expended on his part and the dragon's but he still manages a wide smile and a light fit of laughter as they return to their rightful position. He'll take in a lungful of that cold, bitter air, as the snow around falls ever so silently. ]

I think you and the others I'm teaching will be able to do this in no time. All it takes a bit of practice!

[After the dragon performs his last barrel roll and continues to glide swiftly through the air, Loki is still chuckling. He is also very, very cold but it is quite irrelevant.]

I am a quick study, Helios. You do know that, right?

I really would want to...ah...take it up a notch regarding my study.
