ϡ - Chapter ThirtySeven; The loss [Action|Voice] (forward dated to the 27th)
[ It was an ordinary morning just like any other day would be. Friday nothing too strange about it. With the event having ended and things going back to the way they should be Helios is more than a little chipper now and welcoming to said normalcy. The cultural fair was a success at least and that's put him in good spirits. And so…when he goes to Ginia’s room to ask what she’d like for breakfast he soon realizes that said happiness is short-lived. He’ll knock on her door lightly at first. ]
Ginia? Are you there? I-I wanted to know if you wanted anything for breakfast… [ No answer. Hm. Maybe she left earlier than him to go to Cloud Nine. No. Something felt…off. He’ll grip the doorknob with a slightly shaky hand. Luminair giving him a sad cautious chirp from the place beside his feet. He’ll give the young dragon a small shaky smile as if trying to hide his worst fears realized. ] It’s alright sh-she probably just went out to, to get something to eat.
[ He swallows thickly as he opens the door and there…his stomach drops. Whispered in one disbelieving, tired, and saddened tone is the word: ] No.
[ This wasn’t…this couldn’t be happening. Everything was gone. Gone just like Giles, Frederic, and now her. The room was so empty and bare, aside a box sitting atop the desk. He knew what was in there but he couldn’t make himself walk in to take a look. Letters most likely, there were always letter it seemed like a lasting impression that you could at least keep a hold of. She was like a sister to him, almost like family, so it hurt to have to do this. Gods no matter how many times you hear of people leaving it still hurt to do this. All three gone and he feels slightly lonelier here. But he had to tell people because people had the right to know. Helios couldn't keep this a secret, no, that wasn't fair at all. He’ll bite his lip blinking rapidly as he finally moves inside and takes out his journal. There’s a shaky sigh from him as he opens it then turning on the voice function. For anyone awake at this hour they’ll have an uncharacteristic somber, shaky, voice issued over the journal network. ]
I-I’m sorry to everyone who knew her but…Ginia Solana has gone home.
[ Poorly filtered to the following persons: Grune, Pao-Lin, Smoker, Ami, Draco, Goku, Roji, Shiki, Derek, and Archie. ]
Sh-She left you all some letters. If, if you want to stop by and pick them up at House forty-four. I…I ah c-can also bring them over if it’s more convenient.
[ Maybe getting out of the house might not be such a bad thing. ]

[ Sorry that he had to announce it, sorry that she's not here and he can't help make people feel better. ]
[Action]
You said Miss Ginia left a letter for me...? [It hurts that this is the only thing left from Ginia now, but she's also curious as to what the woman would say to her.]
[Action]
Here it is. [ It is painful to know that this is the only lasting reminder of Ginia's being here. Aside from the people she connected with and left an impression on of course. It didn't seem fair to him to simply wipe away someone's exist like that. As if they were never here at all. ]
[Action]
[Pao-Lin takes the letter in her hands and just gazes at it for a little while, thoughtful. She's mostly calm at the moment, but a mix of emotions swirl beneath the deceptively placid surface of her heart. This is the second letter she's received from a friend who's gone home. She's almost afraid to read it, but she wants to hear from Ginia one last time, even if it's just something she wrote. If Ginia thought enough of Pao-Lin to write her something, the least Pao-Lin could do was hear her out.]
Mmm...maybe I should start drafting goodbye letters in case I ever get sent home.
[She didn't give it too much consideration before, but in light of all these departures...]
[Action]
[ He looks at his hands and his own letters that he's thankfully never had anyone read. ]

I wanted to...share my life and world with the both of them. But now I...I don't know. I don't know how the Malnosso do it. [ He wishes he did, wishes that when he got back he could remember long enough to try and make something to bring them both to his world. ]
Luceti is hardly kind enough to, to allow such things though. It's a real sh-shame.
[Action]
Well...I'm sure that Miss Ginia and Miss Alice wouldn't want us to be sad for too long. [She gives her best smile.] We just have to keep going and try to find a way to fix this situation in Luceti -- for their sake and the sake of other people that have gone home. [Pause.] Right?

Pao-Lin fiddles with the envelope, which isn't sealed (the flap is just folded inside), and she suddenly notices a loose note inside, separate from what looks to be the main letter. Curious, she plucks it out and reads it. Then she glances up at Helios.]
Um...do you know where the training room is? Miss Ginia said I should pick out a weapon from there...
[Action]
Oh! Yes. It's, um, r-right this way. [ He'll motion to the staircase leading to the large room upstairs. ]
[Action]
Hmm...maybe I should move into a house here...

[ Sad and yet happy memories of them moving in together. ] The community buildings aren't so bad. We used to have little dinner gatherings every once and awhile.
[Action]
Unless that all just got handwaved, lmao.] The apartment buildings remind me of college dorms, I think. Not that I've lived at one or anything, but it sounds similar to what I hear about them.[Action]
They're very much like them actually. The sh-shared kitchen area too is much like college as well.
