[ There’s the rhythmic clink of a knife cutting through vegetables and on the cutting board. There’s a small humming coming from the person doing said cooking before they stop. ] Ah! G-Good afternoon everyone. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves today. It looks like we have a bit of a snow storm going on, hm? Make sure to bundle up if you do go out.

[ There’s a hum and then another chop or two. ] Snow. Snow lots of it. Plenty to do with it though. Speaking of I have two ideas I thought might be nice to bring up. First one being a delivery service of sorts! It'll run out of house forty four and we can get you anything you might need during the winter...during times like this, for example. Because walking out in this kind of weather is just dreadful. H-having teleportation magic makes it loads easier a-and I think it'll help people out just a little more. I-I suppose requesting things over the journals would be the fastest way to get it to you. I haven't quite worked out all the details for it yet. But having it as a service available for the winter months might be beneficial all around. [ He'll clear his throat before continuing. ]

The next is a bit more fun and less serious. I thought up the idea back in December, if you saw my snow sculptures walking around that one day. How does a nice, light, fun snow sculpture competition sound to everyone? You can make teams based on the community buildings, houses, or simply join up with your friends! I-I think…it might be nice to do. It’ll help with the recent going ons around here. [ Lots of people leaving some good old fashion fun wouldn’t hurt. ]

As for prizes…well I’m not quite certain what one could ask for when you can get whatever you want. It’s a rather tricky thing to come up with prizes here, but not impossible. Ah! But…there is the hot springs. Perhaps the winning team can take a few hours or a day to have the hot springs to themselves. Maybe having the food of their choice cooked for them while up there? [ Just going to be chopping some more yup. ]

I don’t know when to have it either, actually. Maybe right after Valentine’s Day? [Oh boy Valentine's Day. That is coming up rather soon, isn't it? ] Depending on the amount of snow we get. I-I’m sure it’s not going to melt anytime soon. Could always make more too…

But, yes, if you have any feedback for it I’d love to hear! A little community fun can go a long way after all. I think Luceti could use- [there’s a long pause and then a muted cry of pain comes over the journal. It comes out as a pained gasp and the knife he was holding clatters to the floor but only after Helios cuts himself. Damn. He'll just quickly grab a nearby towel and press it against the wound. Helios turns off the voice function as soon as it happens so no one else can hear it. But, oh, damn he hopes no one is home right now. It’s back, this pain, oh gods it’s just like getting it the first time. He’ll just brace himself against the kitchen counter as he bites back those tears. The next part is said shakily. Helios manages to keep his voice level however. ]

S-sorry about that. But I think everyone could agree that Luceti could use some fun. I'll be around so-so if anyone has any questions feel free to ask. Th-there's also the ah... [ Give him a second he's trying to brain things while all this pain is hitting him at once. ] Th-the meeting tomorrow, too. I can answer things there as well, if-if people need t-time to think on it. S-Stay warm today everyone. Hot chocolate is a wonderfully good remedy for this sort of weather. [ Of all the times to get back his curse. It was bound to happen. He knows that. Y-Yes of course. It-it'll take some time to, ah, d-do the actual s-spell. Learning the sigil and the like. But-ah wh-whenever you'd wish to start feel free to contact me again.

[ Oh. Now. Well then...he can't say he's too surprised. But it's nice seeing someone so eager. ] I-I suppose I could come over. But the, ah, s-storm is rather bad...are you sure it's alright?

[ He doesn't want to intrude or anything like that. Besides if the power went out he could always comeback if need be. Ginia and Adele could handle things on their own, that, he was at least certain of. ]

You just said you can teleport? What else am I going to do?

A good point. Not much else to be done in a storm after all. Very well then. I'll be there in a few minutes. But, if you could, could you perhaps turn on that video thing on these journals s-so I can see a room. A-Any room will do I just need a quick glance is all. [ Is this an odd request? Yes it is. But it'll be made clear soon enough. ]

I'll be over shortly with the necessary books and supplies.

[Well. Whatever - she's being impulsive and she knows it and most likely shiki or beat will complain but oh well. Panning the book camera around the kitchen now]

[ There's a hum from him over his own journal and he nods getting a good mental picture of the kitchen in his mind. ] Alright, thank you. There's going to be a flash of light in a few moments. So, ah, d-don't be alarmed when it happens. It's just going to be me.

[ After that little announcement Helios gets to work on drawing out the sigil mostly it comes from memory and some guide of his spell compendium to fill in the smaller details. About fifteen or so minutes later there will be a flash of light in the kitchen of Haruhi's house (or apartment) and standing there will be one blonde derpy headmaster holding in a bag filled with a few pieces of chalk, some paper and a book. ]

[House. House 10, to be exact. While she does sort of flinch when the light comes, to her credit the reaction is very minimal, more to the glare than in surprise or anything. She whistles when he comes, also going straight to looking at his hands for any sort of open cuts he might have needed to make. Not that she expects to see any, but]

Welcome.

[ Helios will draw back his hand which does, in fact, have a long slice in it. He'll quickly heal it over with Nala's magic though and he gives her a smile with a short wave. Said hand will have a nasty scar, on both dorsal and ventral side, of his palm which doesn't go away after he heals himself. ] Afternoon. One thing about this spell that always makes it difficult, the cutting. Not a very big fan I admit.

[ He'll look around to make sure he hasn't disturbed or knocked anything over. Seeing that he hasn't Helios smiles shifting in his position and taking out a rather thick book. ] You have a very nice house, quite cozy. But, ah, sh-should we start then?

[She won't be either. Maybe she can find some way around it. But with one nod and a tug on her ribbons, she'll confirm-] Yeah, I'm alright to start. Would you prefer a table [Nod to the dining room with the big fishtank at the center] On just sitting at this counter or something?

Oh! The table will perfect if you don't mind.

[Nope, doesn't mind. Well then, let's make out way to that table - ignore the bluegill in there possibly stupidly staring from the tank that dominates the center of it but. sit]

[ He'll make his way over smiling at the fish in the tank before staring back at it almost in imitation. ] It's rather cute.

[ A smile. He'll place his compendium down on the table and the book itself is old and musty and it looks as if the pages could disintegrate with a mere touch and turning of its pages. ] Now then. The first thing to do is to learn the principals and the symbols involved in the sigil.

[ He'll open the book to a page with this drawn on its pages. ]

[Wow, a real magic circle. Even with all the magic she's seen her used here all the time, it's rare she sees something like this. she looks at it reverently, nodding for him to go on]

[ He'll continue then with some excitement and clear enjoyment at the fact he's getting to teach someone his spells. It was a rare thing for him so you couldn't really blame him for it. He was slightly dubious at first but Haruhi's interest is clearly seen and noted. She'll make a good student that much he's certain of. ]

We'll practice drawing out the symbols first because if any one of them is wrong it could end up disastrous. They don't have to be perfect but they do have to be recognizable. Since these symbols actually mean something in the runic language. Which we...might need to touch upon as well. S-Since it'll help when drawing up the sigil.

Okay. [So... a pen, right? She'll need a pen. Oh well. She'll get there]

If I'm going to be giving blood to it I'd rather know what it means anyway.

Luckily the runic language is...fairly simple. It's along the lines of any hieroglyphic language, really. Typically for sigils, especially teleportation, most of the writing is usually coordinates and things to interlock ones own thoughts to the sigil's power.

[ Helios, thankfully, has come prepared with some paper and pencils. He'll take the spare blank sheets of paper out of the book and the few pencils out of his pocket. ] Teleportation sigils are connected to their creator via a psychic like link. The blood symbol directly connects them to the sigil and makes them the sole user of said sigil. Blood magic is powerful that way in that it utilizes the person's soul and entire self to work and complete the spell. Which is why you need to mentally think and see the place you wish to go to before you actually use the sigil. The better the picture of the place is in your mind the easier and closer to your destination you'll end up. Granted there's other methods of which they can be used. Pictures, envelops written by someone in the area or written by the person you're trying to visit. All sorts of things! But this form is by far the easiest to learn.

Pictures-? [No, don't answer that. She mutters that to herself, following his lecture. Okay, that makes sense, go on.]
