The seal works in that a person is bound to their name almost like a soul, blood, or psychic bond. People sharing the same names cannot trick it because the spell can differentiate between the two, because the two names are from two entirely different people with entirely different thoughts and souls. The only feasible way I can see getting past it is by changing your name, and not being seen with this different name, or not having one at all.
