ϡ - Chapter FiftyOne; fourth wall [action]
[ Helios for the most part will be wandering about the village talking and being pleasant with the new arrivals. There are quite a lot of you after all and this is a disorienting experience if there ever was one. He'll be found in the library, tea shop, and Mythoria cafe helping serve or to just talk to anyone who wants to chat. And when he's not at those places he'll be in the town square with his baby dragons who will be curious to meet any new faces they haven't seen before. He's in pretty good spirits so don't be shy! ]

It wasn't all good, but hey, I didn't feel the Winter Mantle here, and-
And it had friendly faces.
"Holy crap. Helios!"

[After the whole mess with Apep -- what she could remember, anyway, a lot of it was fuzzy -- the half-dryad figured that there were worse things than being stuck in a place where a portion of the populace had itty-bitty, nonfunctional wings.]
[A lot of the time, Elise is just wandering -- there's a lot to see in this cozy little village -- but after a while she spots Mythoria Cafe and decides to poke inside. It sounded like a place Helios would open up, if he wasn't so busy with the Academy...]
[...of course, after having a seat at one of the tables, she spots a man that looks awfully familiar. A lot like her fiancee, in fact.]
[So, once the man-with-her-loved-one's-face walks by, Elise tries to catch his attention with a quick tug of his sleeve, a quirky little smirk on her features.]
I don't mean to bother you, but I have a question.
You wouldn't happen to know a man named Helios Sprensonne, would you?

"Harry?! Is that really you?" What this a dream? Or maybe a shift? He wasn't sure but, well, he wasn't going to complain about the man's company.

Helios Sprensonne. A thousand memories came rushing back into my head. I turned his true name over in my head, remembering the first time I'd heard it, remembering the time I'd helped free him from a god with it.
"... Sorry. It's, uh, kinda overwhelming, being back all of a sudden. Retroactive amnesia and crap. How the hell have you been?"

E-Elise... [ his voice sounds pained and happy and disbelieving because she's here and alive and his heart pangs a little when he looks at her closely. ] You're-you're here. You're r-really here.
[ He's not sure if he wants to run or not. He's not sure how much she knows and how much he's hurt her. ]

[She's still not completely sure that this is actually her beloved, but with the way he's reacting... doppelgangers usually don't act this genuine. Then again, it could be some other manner of creature that can read her memories... or something...]
[...She's not in some crazy dreamworld, is she?]
But, uh... how do you know my name? Has Helios told you about me?
Library!
...but this is clearly not Alistair's library and these people have wings.
Giles slowly eases himself down from his chair, staring around warily at the bustling library.]
...did they actually let me sleep through the apocalypse? [He asks no one in particular, not least because Faith, Angel, Alistair, or his aunts are nowhere to be seen. The situation is clearly far worse than that.]

"I've been rather well, actually. It's-it's been a very calm and good new year thus far. How is everything back home?" He knew some details of Harry's world and not many of them sounded good.
no subject
It-it is me. It's Helios, Elise. [ He sounds worried and a little bit conflicted. So many things he wants to say, wants to apologize for, but he doesn't not yet. He'll bite his lip as he looks at Elise. ]
This isn't a dream.

Was that a conjuration? I-I could have you some tea. We have a rather big selection. [ He doesn't say it seriously but he is grinning as he brings over a plate of sweets. Cookies mostly, but there are some brownies and little cake slices as well. ]
no subject
It was.
[He eyes the sweets carefully before selecting a nice piece of cake]
I'm quite good with what I have.

I was fond of Helios, I really was. He was one of my best friends when I'd been in Luceti, even though I'd only been here less than a year, and I never wanted to keep a secret from him, I trusted him with my life...
But how the hell was I supposed to tell him everything that happened? With my daughter? With Molly? With me?
No. No way was I dumping all of that on him.
"... It's tough, but you know me, I'm kind of a stubborn ass."
Library!
Are you alright?

[A pause, as Elise processes that, and her eyes widen with realization--]
... When did you have time to open a cafe around here? [She rises from the chair, wraps her arms around him and pulls him into a tight, warm hug.] You didn't tell me you were taking a vacation!
