I-I suppose that could be the case. Humans have, um, turned many a mythology into something it's not though. It's just how the word of mouth and the changes over time deteriorated the actually stories in my own world.

But I don't really think it's a ruse not from them or any other being in my world. Mythologies and humans used to coexist. I mean they still do but humans are just unaware of it really. I don't think they have a reason to really hurt humans or attack them anymore. [ There wouldn't be a point and humans vastly outnumber mythica at this point. ]
