Mm well. Humans and sidhe or, ah, fae aren't in the best of relationships. Since deforestation is a man made occurrence the sidhe took it as a sign of-of war against their people. But the Magic Council has straightened out those few bumps and sensitive subjects with them. They made a peace offering and dedicated land to them that people are not allowed to touch or harm. Animal sanctuaries and things like that are-are part of the project as well.
