Well, normally when you're an adult, you're supposed to give New Years money to the kids that are in your life. Some people also like to go to the temple to witness the ringing of bells or say prayers. Others like to get together for food or drinks, or to make mochi, which is this sweet sticky rice dessert. It varies, I guess.

For the most part, most people my age like to just get together and grab a drink or something.
