Well that's certainly good to know. It at least makes me feel a bit more at ease about the whole thing. I do always try to make good first impressions. But I know Max is kind and that he'd hardly ever say anything derogatory about anyone he cares about.

[ Cares about is the key phrase here. Max probably cares a bit more deeply still after Valentines day. Just thinking about that day makes his heart beat a little bit faster and his face get a little bit hotter. Oh dear it's probably better off if Eugene doesn't see him right now. ]
